Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Hanoi Lake View, I had the pleasure of enjoying their in-house dining experience, which was quite memorable. The restaurant provided a cozy atmosphere that felt welcoming—ideal for unwinding after a day exploring Hanoi's vibrant old town. Breakfast was a mix of traditional Vietnamese dishes and Western favorites, featuring classic pho—both beef and chicken options—alongside fresh seasonal fruits. I found in my travels that this selection was standard among many hotels in Vietnam, yet it left me satisfied each morning. The streets surrounding the hotel, like Huyen Dung Restaurant just a few steps away, offer delightful alternatives for lunch or dinner, with local flavors that should not be missed. What truly stood out was the hotel staff’s willingness to assist. Ms. Rosa, the hotel manager, ensured my stay was seamless, providing invaluable tips on navigating the bustling streets and must-visit restaurants nearby. The convenience and personal attention offered made my culinary journey through Hanoi all the more enjoyable.
